Introduction to the CLA You will learn about the CLA’s conceptual underpinnings, psychometric foundation, and its value-added methodology. You will also be taken through sample CLA tasks.
CLA Administration Timeline You will learn how to administer the CLA, including: how to sample and recruit students, your data gathering responsibilities, and what types of data reports your institution will receive. Institutions investigating participation in the Voluntary System of Accountability are encouraged to attend to learn how the CLA meets the VSA provisions for the College Portrait.
Additional Features of the CLA The CLA is not just a test. Rather, we pride ourselves on our commitment to improve teaching and learning through assessment, research, best practices, community building and professional development. You will learn how the additional features of the CLA—including the CLA Spotlight Series and CLA in the Classroom—make for a full programmatic experience.
How to RSVP: If you are interested in participating, please RSVP by emailing us at cla@cae.org. Please include your name, title, institution, email address, and the date of the web conference you would like to attend.
If colleagues from your institution will also be joining you, please include their information as well. Thank you for your interest in the Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA).
If you are currently administering the CLA, CCLA, or CWRA and would like to attend an upcoming proctor training web conference, please see the Testing Institutions page for more information.
